“Village by CA” – the business incubator founded by Crédit Agricole and EuraTechnologies presented “Fintech GO” at the Hauts-de-France Region offices in Haymarket House in London.

A new call for bids, directly addressed to specialist FinTech startups, or raising finance using new technology.

This call for bids is based on an incubation and acceleration system unique in Europe. It is directed at French or foreign businesses less than 3 years old, working in the banking, insurance and banking regulation sectors. The point: help new shoots to grow, give them custom support which will then allow them to connect with different partners in Lille, London and Brussels.

An innovative approach, presented by Thierry Lebrun, Director of Innovation at Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Pierre-Yves Aubert, Chief Program Officer at Euratechnologies and Jean-Paul Mulot, Permanent Representative of the Hauts-de-France Region in the United Kingdom, at the Hauts-de-France office in London. All of them highlighted one of Lille’s major advantages for British investors: its proximity to the United Kingdom, with a direct rail link to London (only one hour on Eurostar).

The “Fintech GO” presentation in London has already borne fruit: a dozen or so British project sponsors have registered on the dedicated platform to be considered for selection.
